Wesley's pedigree

Wesley was our first Saluki, and a wonderful companion.  He loved to lure course and was always winning breed or second place, his most notable win was BOB at the 1990 ASFA Region II Invitational with 45 entries.   He did everything we ever asked of him, even clinging to life to the bitter end and then looking at Karen with his loving eyes and letting her know when it was time, and that it was okay to let go.  Wesley died of an inoperable cerebral lesion, living his last months visiting his favorite places: the beach, the desert to chase rabbits, his favorite spots to bask in the sun and laying by our side. Wesley left a huge hole in our hearts that to this day is still empty and aches terribly.  You are a butterfly now Wesley, free to fly...
